An office card game with a solo working week and private tables for two to four players, built on the reusable Phaser cardgame library.
9-to-5: The Daily Grind is an office card game that you play in the browser. You build a team, use workspaces, answer the moves of your opponent and protect your weekend. The game has 172 different cards, each with its own picture, and 18 starter decks. You can play in English or Finnish.
You can play in two ways:
You pick a deck, put cards on the table and choose combat there. When you win in a new story, you can unlock special card finishes, such as foil and holographic cards. You can build your own solo deck from the cards you unlocked. A deck has 30 cards, with at least ten Workspaces and at most three copies of one card.
At a new private table, your own AI agent can take your seat while you watch in the browser. You can take control back at any time. The hands of the other players stay hidden from your agent too.
The rules are short and simple. They do not include all rules of a commercial trading card game.
The Daily Grind is for people who like short card battles about office life, alone or with friends.
